Fabulous Fremantle Frolic
Did you know that Fremantle was ranked number 7 in Lonely Planet’s top 10 cities to visit in the entire world? With a stunning waterfront, great markets and thriving cappuccino strip it’s easy to see why this beautiful, historic port town made the list.
But are you aware that there’s a whole other side to Fremantle that most visiting tourists (and locals for that matter) never get to experience? Rich history, stunning architecture, cracking coffee, fantastic food made with awesome local produce, hidden garden cafes and a thriving creative and artistic community lie around every corner – provided you know where to look.
Come with us on a fabulous frolic through Freo (as the locals call it) and we’ll show you a whole world of hidden foodie gems and amazing local secrets that you might otherwise walk past without knowing that they exist!
Like all Food Loose tours, our adventurers buy their own food along the way. This is all part of sharing and interacting with your fellow food lovers. We estimate it will be no more than $25 in food costs per person on the Fabulous Fremantle Frolic Adventure (but please bring extra if you’d like to buy a few drinks along the way). Please bring small notes and coins to make settling our bills as we go a whole lot easier.
"Even if you are a local you can learn so much and experience so much from this tour. Justin will take you through the streets of Freo showing you some hidden treats for you to try and many more for you to come back again to try in the future. Thoroughly recommend it as a great way for a group to spend a Saturday morning together, especially if you love food." Ian D (TripAdvisor Review)
"The food tour through Freo was enlightening considering I've lived in Perth a majority of my life! The venues we went to were vibrant and I'd never been before. There was variety and plenty of food. The walking was very manageable for most people. Highly recommend and I will be checking out the other tours." -Kelly K (TripAdvisor Review)
