Food Loose: Eating Adventures With a Difference
At Food Loose we like to have a good time, but we definitely take our food very seriously. Great food and drink isn’t just a job for us, it’s an obsession. That’s why we’re committed to providing the absolute best eating experiences and local knowledge around – anything less and we wouldn’t be able to look at ourselves in the mirror each day.
“Foodie Experts” not tour guides
When we’re not busy running tours chances are we’ll be spending our free time eating and drinking our way all over the city, forever on the hunt for the latest hot spot or next hidden treasure. This is why we refer to the people that run our tours as “Foodie Experts” rather than tour guides. In fact, we’re so committed to making sure that they’re constantly out and about searching for new and interesting taste sensations that we give them a weekly food exploration allowance. Feel free to ask questions and pick their brains while your on a tour with them, who knows what interesting tidbits you’ll pick up?

Here at Food Loose HQ we are intensely proud of our hometown and the fact that it now has a truly world class food and beverage scene. We just love showing Perth off to people! That’s why we only work with local, independently owned venues and vendors that are unique to Perth. Helping the city to develop by supporting great local venues has and always will be a very important part of what we do.
Sharing is caring
Sharing food and experiences is a big part of what we do. Rather than just being lead around and talked at, our foodie adventures are all about interacting with your guide and fellow Food Loosers as you explore the sights, sounds and tastes of the city. We like to think of them less as walking tours and more as a bunch of friends getting together to share a laugh, loads of great food (and perhaps the odd drink or two).

As we said before, we truly believe that Perth now has a world class eating and drinking scene and we’re determined to help the rest of the world find out about it. As leading local hospitality experts, we work with Tourism WA to host visiting media from all over the world and show them around the best of what the city has to offer.
Foodie Experts
Will
A food loving cocktail enthusiast with a passion for travel, history and sports! Will has travelled the world, visiting more than 70 countries, and has decided to call Perth his home. He is eager to showcase all that our wonderful city has to offer the world!
Having worked as a tour guide in Europe it is his pleasure to put that experience to good use taking locals and visitors around our burgeoning food and drink scene. As a trained chef and award-winning mixologist, be sure to pick his brains on both food and drink! Salut!
Favourite comfort Food: Steak & Chips, Ramen, Chicken Wings
Favourite Cuisine: Latin American, Asian, French, Italian
Favourite Drink: Negroni (only the best will do!) Vermouth & Tonic, Aperol Spritz.
Riannon
Ri has also worked as a tour guide in Europe and has a keen interest in the European food and culture. She has brought that appetite with her to Perth’s food and drink scene and loves to check out different venues all around our beautiful city.
Favourite Comfort Food: Ramen, any kind of Asian noodle dish or Carbonara (the proper Italian way – no cream!)
Favourite Cuisine: Japanese, Italian.
Favourite Drink: Coffee, Red Wine, Negroni.
Guilty Food Pleasures: Almond Croissant, Chocolate, Fondue.
Aaron
A massive foodie and highly skilled tour guide, Aaron loves his food and drinks! Well travelled and versed in international cuisine, rest assured – when you are on tour with Aaron, you are in safe hands.
Favourite Comfort Food: Crispy Chilli Beef, Poached eggs on Toast, Roast dinner.
Favourite Cuisine: Anything Mediterranean with a particular weakness for Greek Food!
Favourite Drink: Espresso Martini, Ruckus Juice, Champagne.
