  • What are the tour times?
  • City Secrets Adventure: Saturdays from 9:45am to 2pm
    Taste of Asia Adventure: Thursdays from 6:15pm to 9:30pm
    Bites, Bars and Backstreets Adventure: Wednesdays from 6:45pm to 10pm
    Fabulous Fremantle Frolic: Saturdays from 10:45am to 2:30pm

  • What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
  • All tours start from different points in Northbridge and Fremantle that are no more than 10 minutes walk from the train/bus station. There is also City of Perth parking on Roe St that is within walking distance to all tour meeting points.

    There are multiple parking options available. In Lindsay St Perth there is free parking beyond 12pm on Saturdays. There is a multi storey car park adjacent to the Library, just up from the Brass Monkey with the entrance on Aberdeen Street.

  • Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? May I purchase with cash?
  • Tickets must be purchased in advance online using Visa or Mastercards. Please make sure you purchase tickets well in advance of your desired tour date, as our tours sell out quickly. We have a no refund policy.

  • Is there a waiting list if the tour I'm interested in is sold out?
  • We currently do not have a waiting list system. Please email us at i[email protected] to find out if an additional tour has been added that suits your schedule.

  • What if there is bad weather?
  • Tours are given rain or shine. A good portion of our time is spent walking outdoors. However, we will take breaks out of the weather along the way.

  • What type of clothing and shoes should I wear?
  • We ask that you exercise some common sense when choosing what clothing and footwear to bring on a tour. Factor in the weather conditions and wear appropriate clothes. All our tours have walking involved, so please wear footwear that is suitable for the task. In terms of our evening tours, wear whatever you’re comfortable with (within the realms of decency), basically what you’d wear on a nice night out with friends.

  • How much food do we eat on the tours?
  • Our tours have between 4 and 7 different stops and have designed them so that you’ll come away with very full bellies and smiley faces. Listen to your guides advice on recommended portion sizes at each stop and remember to pace yourself, you don’t want to miss out on any great food towards the end because you’re too full!

  • What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
  • Please be sure and let us know if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, gluten free, allergy, etc.). Please email us at [email protected] when you purchase your tickets. As long as we know in advance, we can accommodate your needs.

  • Do you offer vegetarian options?
  • Yes. We have vegetarian options on our tours. Be sure to let us know, well in advance, and we will ensure to suggest appropriate substitutions.

  • What if I am late?
  • It is a good idea to arrive at the meeting location a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. In fairness to the people, who arrived on time, we will leave sharply at the tour start time. If you are late, you may call us at on 0467 542 437 to try and find the group, once they have left. There are no guarantees you will be able to find the group, as our guides are narrating the tour and will not necessarily pick up their mobile phones. There are no reschedules or refunds for late comers, who cannot find the group.

  • Can I reschedule my food tour?
  • We have a 48 hour rescheduling policy. You must notify us by email to [email protected] at least 48 hours before your tour to reschedule. Otherwise, unfortunately you will forfeit your ticket.

  • How much walking is there on the tours?
  • Different tours have differing amounts of walking. The International Food Adventure is the most active and has you on your feet for most of its 4 hours. The Asian Affair Roving Dinner and Northbridge Nights Adventure cover less ground and have more opportunities to sit down.

  • Are the tours appropriate for children?
  • International Food Adventure:
    Our friendly tour guide makes learning about the history, culture, and foods of the areas we visit interesting, informative, and fun. Please gauge whether or not you think this tour is appropriate for your child. Children under the age of 5 are free. You may bring a stroller on the tour, but it will have to remain outside, if the food establishment is busy.

    Asian Affair Roving Dinner and Northbridge Nights Adventure:
    These tours are designed more for an adult demographic and are generally not suitable for small children.

  • Are pets allowed on the tours?
  • Pets are not allowed on any of our food adventures, so you’ll have to leave rover at home unfortunately.

  • Is your tour touristy? Do local West Australians take the tour?
  • Our tours are specifically designed to take you to the “hidden gems” only a die hard Foodie knows about. Local West Australians take our tours and the usual response is “I never knew these hidden gems existed”. None of our tours have a touristy feel to them. Our goal is for you to interact, have fun and experience the culinary secrets of Perth City.

  • Are tour guides tips included in the price?
  • Tour guides tips are not included in the cost of your tour. Tips are not essential, however like most service, when its exceptional you are usually happy to provide a gratuity.

  • Are gift certificates available?
  • Gift Certificates are available on our website here.  You can buy gift certificates for someone local or a visitor, or as a corporate gift.

  • Can I book a private tour?
  • Private tours are available for our International Food Adventure Tour. To enquire about a private tour, please fill out the form on our private tours page. Our operations manager will contact you within 24 hours to inform you if the date and time is available. You may call us directly at 0413 278 387 to inquire about a private tour.

  • Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
  • Please contact the organisers for the trial at [email protected] or 0413 278 387.

  • Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
  • Please bring a copy of your ticket either in hard copy or the email on your phone.

  • The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
  • That’s fine. We encourage you to use your place on the tour. If you are unable to attend we welcome your friends or family on the tour.
